faq: How do I pay for your service?
Most residential clients find it convenient to leave cash payment or a check in a pre-determined area in the home on the scheduled cleaning day. Payment is due on the same day as the scheduled cleaning. If you must make a payment with credit card, I use Paypal and a 3% transaction fee applies. There’s a $45 NSF charge – this is the banks charge for NSF cheques. This payment policy applies to my house cleaning services.
Payments for our commercial office cleaning services is as per the cleaning agreement once awarded the job.
faq: How can we arrange access if I’m not home?
Most of my clients are never home during the day. They provide a key or security access code for easy access. Your keys or access codes are labeled discreetly, they are not traceable to their origin or access point if found or stolen.
faq: Do I get different cleaners coming through my home?
No, you always get the same cleaner. The owner-operator. I provide two cleaners for commercial cleaning accounts.
faq: Do I need to sign anything?
I am a pay as you go cleaning service but, I trust you are committed to your reserved time slot and the frequency of cleaning you requested and agreed too. Please see below for unexpected cancellations.
faq: What if I need to cancel a scheduled weekly cleaning?
If you need to cancel a scheduled cleaning, a minimum 24 – 36 hrs notice would be appreciated, so I may book extra cleaning services to fill the open time slot when the opportunity arises. Occasionally, last second cancellations are inevitable. I will accommodate you but, frequent habitual last second cancellations may incur a $25 lock out charge. Your reserved time slot means I can not book another client to earn a reliable income.
faq: Do you supply cleaning products & equipment?
Having basic equipment in the residence (e.g. a vacuum, mop and bucket) is highly recommended for sanitary purposes. If your vacuum is malfunctioning, I have a back up on hand. I sanitize the equipment after each use. I use eco-friendly cleaning products when none are provided. You get better rates when you supply the cleaning products and equipment.
faq: Can you provide references?
I no longer actively seek references from residential clients. Please see our privacy policy. I am fortunate to enjoy a low turnover rate. Client privacy is assured with my house cleaning service. I may seek references, only on very rare occasions from commercial clients, and only when it is requested at the last stages of securing new commercial cleaning work.

faq: Do you have insurance?
Wholesome Maid carries a general liability insurance policy and is a registered business in the province of Ontario.
faq: What are your rates?
I offer flat rates for regular weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning based on your needs. My Minimum starting rate is $40/cleaning. When a walk-through with you is not possible I can quote an hourly rate. Contact Me for more information.
